Tell us a bit about yourself.

How did you begin and how has it evolved over the years?
When the second baby had a bad bout of eczema and the search of chemical free skin care in the market yielded no result I had to start making cold process soaps on my own. The growing awareness and need for chemical free skin care has seen our brand evolve from cold process soaps to complete skin and hair care range.

Why is making so important to you? 
Gratifying that we can provide chemical free skin care for the deserving.

Your workspace  
First workspace was the kitchen, now moved on to a dedicated unit.

Describe your artistic process 
Artisanal soaps are made using a concoction of various oils and butters, colored with natural colors and made using different patterns set apart for each soap. Each product has a story behind it and we name them in the quirkiest way possible.

What is currently on your work table?
A hair serum, foot deodorising spray for the summer months.

What is your personal favourite pick from y’aura right now? And Why?
Hair wash. Because it was the most challenging to make. Bottling Reetha and Shikakai in the right proportion for effective use almost had us tearing our hair apart.
