Tell us a bit about yourself.

Nobodyelse belongs to Mangesh and Leena Todkar. We are life partners and partners in craft too. Mangesh has done BFA in Applied arts from JJ Colege of Applied Arts, Mumbai whereas Leena did Architecture from Vishweshwarya National Institute of Technology Nagpur. Our work and our love for art and craft brought us together .

Why is making so important to you? 

Making is our expression of creativity. Everything from our routine life can be interesting and creative. A little change in perspective can make a mundane thing, lively and creative.

How did you begin Nobodyelse and how has it evolved over the years?

‘Necessity is the Mother of Invention ” they say.  When we started handling our interior projects, we realised , everything in the house is completely designed and personalised, but when it comes to adding accessories, the personal touch is lost. We refused to buy the routine numbered Clocks, Nameplates and  key holders and started designing on our own. And to our wonders, there is no end to the infinite creative ideas that we can work on . Nobodyelse caters to the artwork for interiors to, home decor and accessories designing and also , jewellery design now

What is your personal favorite pick from your Nobodyelse right now?

And why?WE love doing murals and name plates  as it is the most personalised design we do for a client. Unique, individualistic and rare.

What are your displaying at the By Hand, From The Heart?

We are displaying hooks with catchy one-liners, Art clocks, Murals, Hanging bells , toran and some handmade jewellery.

What is your favourite work tool?

The mind.

Any design story you would like to share.

We feel, that machines and gadgets have overpowered our imagination and creativity. We use technology but prefer to things by hand. All things at our workshop is hand painted with high grade canvas acrylic colors.
