Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am Ketna Contractor, I have done my Bachelors in Fine Arts from MS university and PG in Life Style Product Design from NID, Ahmedabad. I have been working with various materials and in combination of materials

How did you begin your business.
It was always my dream to have my own brand. And with interesting products coming up I thought of branding them

Why is making so important to you?
Conception to reality – a very fascinating journey

Your work space & the artisans involved.
I work from my Studio based in Chennai. I travel a lot to understand different crafts and craftsmen. I enjoy working on making designs and working along with the artisans, mostly rural based. It’s quite satisfying to see them working in their free time and being financially independent 

What is currently on your work table?
I am working on Yoga Mats and jewelry

What are your displaying at the By Hand, From The Heart.
Yoga mats. They are eco friendly and hand made by women.
