I am Samidha Lahane, based in Bangalore. A software professional by career and a crafter by choice. I quit my software job to pursue my passion for craft. My venture – Artisam is my dream come true.
What inspired you to start your business?-
I grew up in an environment which always encouraged creative thinking. I am fascinated by various forms of art which exist in this world & I want to learn/contribute to this amazing facet of life. That’s why I have embarked on a new chapter in my life … “Artisam”.
Tell us about your work space. –
Currently my home is my work space. As my business grows, I plan to have my own studio.
What are your displaying at the By Hand, From The Heart in Chennai?
In Chennai, Artisam, will showcase an exquisite, elegant handcrafted Wearable Art – most of it will be Hair Accessories , fabric and felted jewelry, felted Brooches, few felted Purses , felted scarves, felted hats and felted jars.
