How has your label evolved over the years?
From my days as a home baker in 2015 to managing our own outlet in Alwarpet now, a lot has changed, right from our product line, strategies to our brand’s vision. We have a curated set of desserts and drinks on our store menu that are premium in terms of quality and taste. We stick to a limited menu that we truly believe will provide an overwhelming experience to the customer. One such product is a baked cheesecake, which is one of the most luxurious desserts, and we take pride in using the best quality ingredients and the optimum baking technique with which we deliver the best taste and texture.
We have also found along the way that desserts don’t always have to mean unhealthy. We now customise our baked goods to customers with special dietary requirements such as Paleo, gluten free, refined sugar free, etc. We also have a healthier version of our birthday cakes. In the long run, we’d like to bust the myth that healthy desserts can’t taste amazing.
Your favourite pick in the line-up?
If you’ve tried French Macarons, you know they’re tiny treats that pack a real punch. It takes a lot of skill and precision to perfect this French cookie sandwich. The result speaks for itself with the shell’s chewy bite and a burst of flavour from the filling that we constantly keep switching because the possibilities are endless. We will be bringing a variety of unique flavours to BHFTH that will include our best sellers as well as new ones.
What are you displaying at BHFTH?
We are bringing our popular products for the two days at By Hand, From The Heart. The indulgent range will have (eggless) cupcakes, Belgian Chocolate Chip Cookies, French Macarons, and we will have Gluten Free, Refined Sugar Free Loaf Cakes and Flavoured Energy Bites form our clean range.
