A bit about yourself and your art venture.

I am an accountant by profession and a self taught artist. Arcsun Art was born out of a passion for designing unique handcrafted  pieces  to beautify your home, office space or  your front door. Our custom made nameplate is  our flagship product. Arcsun Art takes pride in creating a new story for every client  which makes our nameplates exclusive.

USP : All our illustrations, patterns ,lines , motifs , doodles  are completely hand drawn.

Tell us a bit about your work space and favourite tools.

I have an art room which is filled with canvases, paints , charcoals and my favourite easel.  I work on different pens for my doodles and sketches  for my initial drafts. I love my sketching  pads(a big one and a pocket sized one), pens and pencils which I carry whenever i  am travelling. I always believe that a conversation, a picture, a beautiful  view, an event can be an inspiration to a new design. So I try my best not to miss a chance to create something new.

Your most challenging project till date.

One of the most challenging projects undertaken by me was carrying out a commissioned artwork for the Indian Navy.  It was an acrylic painting on canvas ,depicting  a newly commissioned naval vessel with the Mumbai harbour as a backdrop. The painting took me approximately twenty days to complete . My painting now adorns the wall of the affiliated  Army regiment.

One of our best sellers and my personal favourite from last year’s collection would be the “theekhi chachi and namkeen chacha” salt and pepper shakers.
